Early models featured an open cab and a water tank that was oval in section.   This kit is of the later model with fully enclosed cab and "squarer" cross-section tank.   The majority of field units  used this size of tanker -designated "200 gallon".   These later vehicles served the British forces in all theatres from Tunisia onwards.
