The 15cwt. Bedford MWD modified to carry a No.19 or No. 21 Wireless set and three operators.   It was designated FFR (Fitted for Radio) or FFW (Fitted for Wireless).    These vehicles were used by  unit commanders of infantry battalions, artillery units down to battery level and other small formations.
