Breda 20mm Model 35 - towed
Ref: G18
GBP: 6.45
Designed as a dual-purpose weapon for use against both aircraft and ground targets, the Canone-Mitragliera da 20/65 modelo 35 (Breda) entered service with the Italian Army in 1935. It was mounted on a complicated two-wheeled carraige (Modelled here) and normally towed behind a truck.
Captured examples were prized by the Allies and often fitted to light armoured cars. The Germans also used the weapon in North Africa. After the Italian Armistice in 1943 the Germans used confiscated examples in Italy and on the Eastern Front.
