The 105mm Howitzer M2 was first used in action in North Africa in 1942. It went on to become the most used U.S. Army field artillery weapon of World War 2. It was a popular and handy weapon that was used in almost every theatre of the war. It could fire thirteen types of ammunition and was placed in a variety of mobile mounts. Production finally ceased in 1953. Crew 8.
